Why we exist
eSignCompare was founded on a simple frustration: every other comparison site in this category reads like a press release. Vendors pay for placement, the same generic pros-and-cons get copied between articles, and the pricing tables go stale within months. We thought professional buyers — legal teams, sales operations, freelancers, healthcare administrators — deserved better.
So we built a review platform with one editorial rule: every recommendation must come from hands-on testing, scored against a published methodology, and updated quarterly. We never accept payment for rankings. Affiliate relationships exist (they keep the lights on) but they are disclosed at the moment of every purchase decision, not buried in the footer.

We believe choosing business software should be informed, transparent, and free from hidden incentives. Our editorial team tests every platform we review, and our assessments are never influenced by commercial relationships.
Our Methodology
Each review is based on hands-on testing across five weighted dimensions: ease of use (20%), feature depth (25%), pricing transparency (20%), security and compliance (20%), and support responsiveness (15%). We create real accounts, sign real documents, test API endpoints, and contact support — then score each platform 0–100 in each category. We revisit every review at least quarterly to keep pricing claims and compliance details current.
Editorial Standards
Our content is created by writers and editors with real experience in SaaS tools, digital workflows, and compliance requirements. We disclose affiliate relationships transparently, label every editorial score as our own assessment (never user-aggregated), and never accept payment for rankings. When a vendor disputes a score, we re-test in the open and publish the result either way.
